Road Freight

With over 30 years of experience and long-term relationships with trucking companies, Excalibur ensures good rates and quality service.

Whether it's LTL or FTL, we will make sure your shipment reaches its destination unharmed and fast.

Our trucks have heavy-duty lift gates installed if there is no loading dock available. No matter what your requirement, Excalibur will deliver above expectation and will update you along the way.

Air Freight

Whether its domestic or international air cargo, we have the experience to get your shipment to its destination.

For domestic, we offer both express cargo and general cargo service options. With express cargo, your shipment will be placed on the next flight available. General cargo can take between 2-5 days depending on the destination.

Our international courier service utilizes our secure network of agents, which allows your shipment to reach any country within the EU. We are up to date with customs regulations. We also offer international freight to Sydney, Johannesburg, Vancouver, Toronto, and others.

Artwork Industry

At Excalibur we offer 2 packing options:

1. Bubble wrap and packing materials inside a custom-sized corrugated cardboard strong box.

2. Foam-lined custom wood crate with an A-frame forklift-friendly base.

Having our own shop to build crates and custom pack items keeps the cost down for you. We are a one stop shop for packing and shipping artwork. Excalibur sends artwork to a number of local Los Angeles and International art galleries and artists; we transport artwork across the USA and around the world. We can offer direct air cargo or road services to many of the well-known art shows.

TV & Film Industry

Our experience working with commercial, TV, and movie productions has shown us that they all have unique logistic requirements. Our services are tailored to each of our clients' needs.

Los Angeles is the headquarters for the west coast fashion industry, as many trends are set here.

Every year Excalibur services the major fashion shows in Paris, Amsterdam, and London for many of the downtown Los Angeles fashion houses.

We are able to ship samples as a temporary import into many countries. This allows your products to be seen without the cost of international import tax and duties. Express and economy services are available.

Customs

We supply a customs POA (power of attorney) for you to complete and you leave the rest to us! We also produce carnets for export and import customs clearance, avoiding duties and taxes. This is a service we regularly provide to our customers who send high value items.

After working in movie and TV production transportation in the late 1980s, Robert decided to go into business with two partners. Over the past 30 + years, through many technology and logistic industry changes, Excalibur has thrived. Robert’s expertise, approach to the process, and accountability has proven to be a winning formula.

Larry Montes

General Manager

Larry has 26 years of courier and air cargo company experience. After 12 years as an import/export manager, Larry now manages TSA compliance and administrative duties. He is a specialist in quoting and shipping artwork, and has customized our operations program. He is also in charge of the billing process for special projects and distributions.

Gaspar Correa

Operations Manager

Gaspar has 18 years of transportation experience. He started as a truck driver before he became a loading/rigging equipment specialist. He is trained in packing items and building custom wood crates. He works onsite in our workshop with a full-time assistant.

Toni Martinez

Toni has 21 years of industry experience. After a few years in dispatch and operations, Toni quickly moved into customer relations and customer service. Toni is the eyes and ears of the shipping process. She manages data import reports, customer service reports, and all shipment timelines.
